About the role
This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact across the business while gaining deep insights into our revenue streams. In this position, you’ll collaborate with various business units, deliver group reporting and forecasting, and manage large datasets for both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll also partner with our Commercial team to understand key revenue drivers. Plus, with regular exposure to the executive team, you’ll be in a high-profile role that contributes directly to the company’s future strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
Group planning, forecasting and analysis
- Manage our key components within the group’s budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning cycles
- Key role in development and production of board and other business presentations and delivery of data, analysis for key stakeholders (Board, Management)
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast financial performance including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow for the group
- Ownership of our Commercial revenue streams and any associated reporting and modelling, including SaaS revenue
- Act as a strong business partner to department heads across the group, helping them manage costs to plan
- Support on high profile financial planning tasks such as refinancing and capital structure optimisation
- Assist on strategic/business reviews, scenario and sensitivity reviews, ad-hoc projects
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and support month end reporting process
What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified accountant, ACA preferable
- Experience working in a PE backed business
- Advanced planning skills with PowerBI and Anaplan or other FP&A tools is required
- Understanding of SaaS business drivers and operations
- Demonstratable experience in forecasting, analysis and reporting at group level
- Strong Excel user, with proven financial modelling (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow) skills
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Highly confident communicator at all levels and able to tailor message to audiences
- Detailed analytical and questioning approach, with creative problem-solving and critical thinking
- Self-starter, independent, proactively seeks out new opportunities to improve our business and ways of working
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to produce high quality and accurate work in demanding timescales
- A team player with strong business acumen and work ethic and experience within the Services or Employee Benefits industry advantageous
- M&A experience an advantage
The Interview Process
Our interview process involves 3 main stages:
- Short call with a member of the Talent Acquisition and Experience team
- 45-minute video call with Hiring Manager and one other team member
- Final Interview and task with two members of the team
