About the role

This is an outstanding opportunity for a legally qualified, experienced, senior professional with a background in commercial contracts to join our friendly, hardworking Governance Risk and Compliance and Legal team and make a significant, long-lasting contribution to a high-profile business, at a key point in its development by being the Legal Partner to the Commercial business across the UK and AU.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Serve as the legal partner to the commercial business, offering legal input into strategy, risk assessment and commercialisation to support the Perkbox Vivup Growth Strategy

• Support Growth teams by driving complex negotiations and contracting processes across supply chains and customers, covering both private and public sectors - reviewing and drafting extensive legal agreements to facilitate the delivery of employee benefits

• Draft and review customer-facing legal documents

• Collaborate with the DPO on data, digitization, and privacy matter

• Partner with UK and AU business units to deliver strategic, commercially viable, and pragmatic legal advice

• Proactively identify internal and external business challenges, recommending improvements to manage legal risk and drive continued commercial success

• Support the continuous improvement of legal processes, promoting efficiency across the business

• Stay informed about current legislation and regulatory changes of interest to the company or that have relevance to Perkbox Vivup’s operations.

• Handle ad-hoc legal matters, including lease reviews.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Lawyer and with a minimum of 4 years PQE

• Current Practicing Certificate for England and Wales

• Demonstrated ability to recognise and resolve legal issues and manage risk

• Must have ability to plan, multi-task, organise and control heavy work volume

• Must have experience of UK Data Protection.

• In-house experience preferred

• Exceptional stakeholder. management and communication skills.

• Experience at managing a small team

• ‘Self-starter’

• Ability to work within a wider risk team

The Interview Process

Our interview process involves 3 main stages:

• Short call with a member of the Talent team
• 30-minute video call with Hiring Manager and one other team member
• Final Interview and task with two members of the team
