Senior / Lead DevSecOps Engineer
Role Summary
We are looking for a senior DevSecOps leader to own and evolve our DevOps and platform engineering function. This role will define our infrastructure, security, and deployment strategy across Perkbox & Vivup, enabling engineering teams to ship faster, safer, and at scale.
To be successful, you’ll have:
7–10+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering / SRE
Experience owning DevOps/platform capabilities within a product company
Strong cloud architecture experience (AWS preferred), including Kubernetes and AWS Lambda
Proficiency with Azure and Windows Server environments
Solid understanding of IAM and SAML/SSO protocols
Strong attention to detail with a security-first mindset and good documentation practices
Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with highly technical teams
What you will own:
Security posture across the SDLC
DevOps and platform strategy across all products
CI/CD standards and overall developer experience
Cloud architecture across AWS / GCP / Azure
Reliability, observability, and incident response practices
Cost optimisation (FinOps mindset)
Key responsibilities:
Define and implement an end-to-end DevSecOps strategy (beyond just pipelines)
Establish security-by-default practices across engineering
Partner with engineering leadership on scalability, architecture, and platform decisions

The Interview Process
Our interview process involves 4 main stages:
Screening (30–45 mins)
Technical Deep Dive (60 mins)
Practical / Take-home OR Live Exercise (90 mins)
